This day very exclusive excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy the best and most exclusive countryside of Tuscany.
After you are greeted at the port you will make your way to the enchanting city of Volterra. Today one of the most famous towns in the region of Tuscany, built high on the rolling hills, where you can find an marvelous view and enchanting sites in the city, from the ancient Romans theater to Piazza dei Priori, where Andrea Bocelli performed more then 20 years ago. After spending the morning here, your driver will take you to the town of Lajatico.
Here you will explore Andrea Bocelli's wonderful Teatro del Silenzio (Theater of Silence) and of course the glorious Bocelli family Farm House situated among the rolling Tuscan hills where Bocelli’s family has lived for generations. You will have the unique opportunity to explore the family vineyards which stretch across the stunning Bocelli estate. The family have been producing fine white and red wines here for a number of years with Bocelli's brother Alberto at the forefront of the production process. You will of course have the opportunity to indulge a little and sample three fabulous bottles during the complimentary wine tasting.
When ready your English speaking driver will chauffeur you to nearby traditional Italian restaurant La Vallata where you will enjoy a little memorable Tuscan cuisine. The owners of this charming dining establishment work alongside the Bocelli family. You will be able to sample a selection of Tuscan specialties and of course a glass of regional wine, divine desserts and traditional Italian coffee.
On the way back to the port you will have time to stop in in Pisa for you to complete your day with a view of the leaning tower and the magnificent square of Miracles.
All rates are payable in cash (Euros only) at the end of the tour. Traveler's checks are also accepted with an additional commission fee of 10%. We do not accept credit cards.
Services include pickup from and drop-off back at your cruise ship in one of our luxury vehicles by an English-speaking driver.
Lunch, gratuities, and any entrance fees to attractions are not included. Also please note that we may change the order of the itinerary at our discretion.

Note: Because of security and lack of space in the port of La Spezia, all vehicles are forbidden from entering the port.
You would need to take a shuttle to exit the port and your driver will meet you where the shuttle stops.
