This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of the ETRUSCAN villages TARQUINIA and CERI. After you are greeted in the port of Rome, you will proceed northeast through the countryside reaching Tarquinia, located 30 min away from the port.
Here you will find the greatest Etruscan museum in the world, with well-preserved sarcophagi, paintings, tombs, frescoes from the 6th to 1st centuries B.C. and the largest Etruscan necropolis.
Moving on, you will arrive in the medieval town of Ceri for some lunch and further sightseeing. You will spend the duration of your day inside the medieval walls of the city. Before you are returned back to your ship in the port of Rome.

Please note that the Etruscan museum is closed on Mondays!
All rates are payable in cash (Euros only) at the end of the tour. Traveler's checks are also accepted with an additional commission fee of 10%. We do not accept credit cards.
Services include pickup to and from the port in one of our luxury vehicles by an English-speaking driver.
